Pears

For the tastiest pears, keep them on the counter until fully ripe, then, transfer them to the refrigerator to extend shelf life.

Allowing pears to fully ripen on the counter at room temperature will ensure the best flavor and texture. Once pears are ripe, transfer them to the refrigerator to extend the shelf life up to one week.

If you want your pears to ripen faster, place them in a closed paper bag on the counter.
